Japanese patients with diabetic nephropathy and albuminuria (from 100 mg/gCr to 2000 mg/gCr) using RAS-blocking treatment were enrolled in prospective, randomized, open-labelled study. Patients were treated with additional spironolactone 25 mg once daily and matched control for 8 weeks.
